Profile Yongtao Bai

Dr. Yongtao Bai is currently a full professor of structural engineering at Chongqing University. His research fields include extreme mechanical behavior of steel structures in life-cycle, AI-aided fatigue life assessment for metalic materials and structures, service safety for extra-terrestrial construction and so forth. He serves as the associate editor of TAL-Wiley, Journal of Advanced Thermal and Fluid Systems in Aerospace, and editorial board members of other international journals. Total of 120 academic papers has been published by Dr. Bai, and he was awarded by Humboldt Research Fellowship, JSPS Research Fellowship, Scientific Prize of China Steel Construction Society, and Natural Science Award of Seismological Society of China
