Dr. Yeming Lu
His research focuses on the operational mechanisms and intelligent design of fluid machinery. It addresses major needs in reliability-based design and maintenance analysis for fluid equipment.
The scope of the research covers the innovative design and performance testing of a range of fluid machinery, including the CAP1400 nuclear coolant pumps, the high-speed railway fans, the energy storage compressors, the supersonic turbine cascade, and the ultra-high-speed pump-jet systems. He has led multiple research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General, Youth, and "Ye Qisun" Programs), the Applied Basic Research Program of Liaoning Science and Technology Department, and the Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China. Furthermore, multiple projects commissioned by research institutes and industry, such as the project funded by the Science Foundation of the State Key Laboratory of Clean and Efficient Turbomachinery Power Equipment, have been successfully completed. In the past five years, He has published 32 papers as the first or corresponding author in high-level journals within the fields of energy and marine engineering, such as Ocean Engineering and Energy. He also hold 14 granted invention patents and software copyrights. Notably, his first-author paper (published in Progress in Nuclear Energy) was awarded the Second Prize of the 2023 Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award.
